For a long time the DeVille has been a well known car made by Cadillac; however, now the DTS has replaced this car. This is a front wheel drive vehicle that does a great job of replacing the full size DeVille. Some of the changes you’ll notice on the new DTS include an OnStar system in the car, a new key fob, and chrome wheels that come standard. The new DTS was first introduced back in 2005 at the Chicago Auto Show, and it is continuing to be a big hit with the new 2008 model that is available. However, this is a new single model strategy, which means that there is only one interior and one exterior available, but there are several different options packages that are available for purchase as well. The DTS is powered by one of two different Northstar V8 engines and it now contains six airbags as well.

On the Outside

If you take a look at the outside of the 2008 Cadillac DTS, you’ll notice that it has more clean lines and a certain architectural style to it. In fact, the new style is just a bit like the new STS sedan. On the front you’ll find an egg crate style grille that has a wreath and crest badging in the center. There are also xenon headlights featured in the front and LED taillights in the back. The deck lid rear panels are new as well.

There are several available technologies as well, including Magnetic Ride Control, and StabiliTrak stability system that comes with brake assist. You’ll also find that 17 inch chrome wheels now come standard with the car, although you can choose to have the 18 inch chrome wheels if you want them. The 2008 Cadillac DTS has a wheelbase that is 115.6 inches and it is a total of 207.6 inches long and the width is 74.8 inches, which is quite a large vehicle.

On the Inside

On the inside of the car, it can hold 5-6 people fairly comfortable, and you can choose between a bench in the front, or bucket seats. The instrument panel is a bit different then the one in the previous DeVille and it has been moved forward and lowered as well. You can get an analog clock in the car and you can even have the trim upgraded to burl wood if you are willing to pay a bit extra.

For climate control, you get a tri zone automatic climate control feature that comes standard. There are other features available as well, such as cooled and heated seats in the front, heated seats in the seats, remote start, folding mirrors, wipers that senses rain, a steering wheel that is heated, and even a heater for the windshield washer fluid. You can also get a 6 CD changer that is able to play MP3s, XM radio, adaptive cruise control, and rear parking assistance. A few other optional features include OnStar, a navigation system that is DVD based, and step by step navigation.

Power Under the Hood

If you take a look under the hood of the 2008 Cadillac DTS you’ll find that you can choose from two different configurations of the 4.6 liter V8 engine. The base engine will put out 275 horse power; however, you can choose the other engine option that has 292 horsepower and more torque. Both of these engines come with a 4-speed automatic transmission.

Safety Features

There are a variety of great safety features that can be found in the 2008 Cadillac DTS as well. It comes standard with six airbags, including side curtain airbags, side impact airbags, and special dual depth front airbags that deploy differently depending on how bad the crash is, where the passenger is located, and whether they have their seatbelt on. You get antilock brakes standard with this car, and you have the option to have a stability system as well.

The new 2008 Cadillac DTS definitely has a lot to offer. It offers excellent comfort, both in the front and back of the car and for a larger car it has great fuel economy as well. When you take a look at the overall value for a car within it’s class, you’ll find that this car definitely is a great value. Starting out around $40,000 and going on up depending on the package, for a larger luxury sedan, this car offers a lot for a great value.

Typically you can register a new.com domain for about $9.25. That is basically the going rate for a domain without any discounts. You can get many different TLD (top level domain) names though. Some examples are.net,.org,.info,.mobi,.us,.eu,.name, and.tv. There is literally a TLD for every country on Earth! The most popular ones are the cheapest though. You are going to have to pay quite a bit of money if you want something exotic. Not to mention most foreign domains are only available to people who reside in that specific country.

If you plan on keeping your domain for multiple years, you will want to make sure you set that up when you initially buy the domain. Most companies will offer you a discounted rate when you purchase more than one year at a time. It is actually a smart idea to do this if you plan on keeping this domain for a long time. Registering it for a long time at the beginning ensures you won’t have to Registration of the domain name in its first year expires. You could also put a full year free if the company has a special website. Although most companies you will receive a notification to your e-mail that lets you know, only domain XX on the left says, is better than cure.

Find a domain registrar with free bonus is always a priority. If you have a Registrar that a free Whois Privacy bonus offers, must be limited to them. This ensures that theinformation is kept private. This is especially important because people have been able to make scripts that search Whois databases scanning for email addresses to spam. It is a free bonus that can save you a huge headache.

If you ever decide to change registrars then make sure that the company you are switching to has a low transfer fee. Most will charge you a year’s registration to switch over, some are even less. I would shop around for the best offer before you choose which one you like.

Your choice in hosting service provider is critical when it comes to your internet business, I can tell you now I have made some bad choices in this area that have cost me weeks of frustration, down time and money. There are some hosting providers who you really need to steer clear of, unfortunately I can’t mention them here, which is a shame because they deserve every possible bit of bad publicity they can get!

I have found a company finally after probably six years of actual full time marketing, yes it took me that long to find the right company, even though you know that you need to move to another provider because the service and support is so bad you’re extremely reluctant because of the upheaval this causes with the inevitable related down time of such a decision.

The power of testimonials, this is what peaked my interest to make that move lock, stock and barrel, this one company had some very high level and very well known internet and network marketers hosting their entire businesses with them. I thought that if it’s good enough for these high profile and successful marketers, then I’m sure they will meet my humble requirements! I made the move in January and completed the move in February from a company here in the UK after previously being with another company in Germany.

The cost savings were quite phenomenal compared to the charges I faced in the UK and Europe. I was quite stunned when I realised all of the services that were included with this package, as far as service, well it goes without saying the UK and Europe has a long way to go to catch up with North America when it comes to looking after customers. Don’t be put off just because you’re in Europe by shopping around elsewhere for a better deal.

If you’re unhappy with your hosting provider, begin to do your research and seriously consider saving some money and drastically improve the service you receive, think globally and use globalisation to your benefit.

If you would like to know how and what to avoid and what to look for in a provider, check the links below.

need to present the construction of a new site and sell your favorite jewelry pieces are not to be a terrifying experience or expensive. In fact, you can create a fully functional e-commerce site for less than a few hundred dollars and not have to be a programming genius of a language. In fact do not even have basic HTML code, or know another programming language.

However, you need a good web design program. If you're new, build a website to ensure that there is a programthat is WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get). A few different companies have similar programs available for around $50. If you don’t have the time or inclination to learn computer language then you will want a program that converts what you design or type on a page into html code. Basically, you design how you would like things to look on your web pages and then the program converts your web pages into code before uploading them to your web host.

A reliable web host is very important. Today, it seems like everyone has a web hosting service, but not all web hosts are the same, so take a little time to do some research. A couple of key features to look for are uptime and customer service. The last thing you want to have is a website that can’t be viewed because your host is down. Secondly, if a problem does occur, you want to be able to have someone readily available to help you. Most web design programs will have a “suggested” or “preferred” provider and while you are not obligated to use them, some features of their program may work much easier with their “preferred” provider. When you decide upon a web host, you will also need to think of a domain name for your site. Once again, take a little time to think of a creative name that is easy to remember. It may mean the difference between a visitor and someone that wants to visit your site but can’t remember your name.

Next, it you don’t have a digital camera, you will probably want to get one. This will be your biggest expense, but a digital camera makes it so much easier to load pictures to your website. Digital cameras have improved so much that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to be able to take good quality pictures. Also, keep in mind, your digital camera can be used for many other photo opportunities as well as taking great photographs of your handmade jewelry.

Finally, you can use PayPal for free e-commerce and shopping cart technology. Are a small percentage of every sale is responsible, but if you pose a Premier or Business account, no additional charge. I'm sure the other options are available, but I am most familiar and comfortable with bin PayPal. I hope this helps you with the basics of starting a website jewelry. I think you'll find a pleasant and rewarding experience can provide for your hobby orbusiness. Good luck to you.

They May Be Nothing More Than A List Of Copied And Pasted Features

You see it all the time, those so-called “reviews” of web hosting services that are nothing more than a listing of features already displayed on the web host‘s sale page. That’s not a review, it’s redundant information that you can get by yourself just by going to the web host‘s home page.

Get Objective Web Hosting Reviews

While low pricing and an abundance of features all play into selecting the best web host for your needs, the most important thing to look when doing your research are comments from real people who have dealt with the technical staff, customer support or billing department, good, bad, or indifferent.

Look for objective reviews from real customers based upon first-hand experience. Anything else is nothing more than subjective commentary. Did they get answers from the help desk in a timely manner? Were their issues resolved, if not, why? Was the staff courteous or did they act like they were doing the client a favor by even showing up to work that day? You want to hear from people who actually have web hosting accounts with the hosting company. Is the system slow? Is there a lot of down time?

Help Desk Systems Are Not All Alike

Do they have a ticket system where you can submit questions and then track the replies, or is their version of a help desk simply passing emails back and forth? Emails have a way of disappearing in spam filters, lost over time or accidentally deleted. Names also get dropped in a maze of cc’s and bcc’s when being passed off from the help desk to the technical staff.

Write Down Your Pre-Sale Questions

If you can’t find any customer comments to your liking and you have pre-sale questions, make a list and don’t hesitate to contact the company. While placing a phone call is quicker, emailing or using their ticket system is best because you’ll have their reply in writing, should you need to use that information at a later date. Plus, you’ll also be able to gauge how quickly they answer tickets.

Guarantees Should Be The Money-Back Kind

Most web hosting companies have a 30-day guarantee, but not all guarantees are a 100% money back guarantee. Make sure you understand the guarantee before you sign up. Be especially wary when customers complain of calls to the billing department going unanswered, refund requests being promised, but nothing happens, or “the check’s in the mail” gimmick.

Check The Company’s Reputation With A Reporting Agency

If you’re in the US or Canada, go into the National Sites section on the Better Business Bureau website to see if any complaints have been filed.

Be Wary Of “Too Good To Be True” Testimonials

Check for testimonials on the host company’s site. Do they look credible or made up? They should include real names and URLs of the people making them.

Does The Web Host Have Any Awards?

Take any awards they have displayed with a grain of salt unless they are from reputable companies and publications. Click on those awards and follow the links to the site that issued the award. If necessary, contact the award giver and ask them why they issued an award to the web hosting company.

Reseller shared hosting is housing and servicing files for a particular web site. Generally an individual or small business is not able to afford to get a large “slice of the pie” on the Internet on their own for their presence on the web. Reseller shared hosting can provide this having the option to outsource the Internet requirements at a lower cost to them.

What does reseller shared hosting do?

By using reseller shared hosting it allows companies or individuals to share the cost of a fast Internet connection for serving files. These services are provided at a basic level and have an entry fee that they can choose. Reseller shared hosting offers the ability to host a web site on a powerful managed server that is professional and at a lower cost. A hosting reseller shared web site can provide individual web sites with redundant connectivity as well as uptime that is guaranteed. These plans provide a good solution for hosting needs that are entry level. This is because they are able to host small scale ecommerce sites and static web pages.

Good for Starters

Reseller shared hosting is popular among start up webmasters since it provides a web presence that is reliable without having advanced technical skills. A reseller shared hosting service is also an advantage to the smaller consumer since it assures them that they will be able to get transparent services. It also assures them that they will receive a domain name for their web site and e-mail addresses. Reseller shared hosting services are also very popular because they can offer the smaller consumer resources that are strong, low cost, and fast deployment. By paying an affordable as well as predictable monthly fee to a reseller shared hosting service the consumer can then get reliable expertise and better, faster connections than a dial up service will be able to provide to them.

The Price is right

Reseller shared hosting is good for the smaller consumer since it will allow them to outsource a web site that is high traffic and content rich for a fraction of what it would cost to hire someone to develop it in house. Because of this many individuals and small businesses choose the option of reseller shared hosting.

Web hosting means giving out space on a web server to people who wish to make their own websites, or simply require web space to put in some information. This web space can be given to individuals, organizations or even other small-scale web hosts.

Until a few years ago, web hosting was very expensive and could only be afforded by big companies with expensive Internet budgets. However, due to the increasing competition in this market the prices of web hosting have gone down considerably. This has made several low cost webs hosting services available to people whom wish to have their identities on the net. In fact, some web hosting is free, while others may be run on advertisement-generated revenue.

But there are some considerations to think about before opting for low cost web hosting. You must make a correct analysis of how much disk space and how much bandwidth you will need. This will save you from having to pay extra money. One way of cutting costs is to opt for shared web hosting, where many people or organizations use the same server. This could create problems with identity and secrecy and hold restrictions on the nature and volume of data that can be stored on the website. You can also reduce the cost of your web hosting services by reducing or avoiding the number of streaming images or videos you use, as these take up a lot of space on the server.

When shopping for a web host, do not settle for the lowest price. Of course, price is a major consideration, especially if this is your first website and you have to work within a modest budget. But you must also consider the business potential that your website can create. For this, you must check how much traffic the web server will generate, i.e., how many clicks your website will have per day. Also, verify if the web server is restricting some areas or some countries from accessing their website.

There are some web-hosting providers that claim to give unlimited web hosting. This is the cheapest kind, as they will allow unlimited domain registries on their web server. But, the disadvantage is that the domains registered, the slower the website. That may cut down your business.

Low cost web hosting has made creating websites an inexpensive available to large and small businesses. It generates more revenue and is vital to the business world as a whole.

Selecting your domain name

Selecting a domain name can be a very frustrating process as a lot of domains have been sold already. With 30.000+ domain names being sold each day it can be a challenge to find the appropriate domain name for your company. So what do you do? Your business name might not be available or be too long. If you did think about doing business on the Web when you started, your name might not be appropriate for the web. What if your domain name is available for the country code extension but not .COM? Should you buy the .CA anyway? How long is too long?

Create a short list of domain names and variances. Talk with people that you trust and opinion you value or ask your regular customers. However, don’t wait too long about as 30.000 Domain Names are being sold a day now. Below you will find a few pointers or things you should have in mind when selecting your Domain Name.

Using your business name

Using your business name as your domain name could be a great idea. However if your business name is really long or very complicated you might want to consider searching for an abbreviation or an alternative.

Recognizable

You want it to reflect what you do … that makes it easier for people to remember your address and will increase the chance of people guessing your web address right without having to search for it.

Uniqueness

Choosing a Domain name that is unique can avoid that you loose business to your competitors as it cannot be confused with other domain names. You still have to consider if the Domain name is easy to type and not too complicated. Most unique Domain Names for .COM are gone and a lot have been bought to re-sell a lot more expensive. If you have a look on eBay you will see a lot of Domain names for sale.

A person had already registered the Domain name for Pope Benedict XVI before they announced the new Pontiffs name and had put it for sale on eBay immediately after the announcement. He sold it for $200.000+. Think carefully about buying your domain name from another person. First of all you would have to pay a lot more than registering a new name. Second, you might not have full ownership of it. Maybe find alternatives as the one for sale by a person might never be sold and then end up being available through a Domain Registrar a couple of years down the road.

Easy to type

You should select a domain name that is easy to type so avoid complicated domain names. You would like people to be able to enter your Web Address very easily. Spelling errors might make them end up at the wrong site. Or if your domain name contains a hyphen “-” and your competitors domain name has none. They might end up there instead. One example could be (note that only one is a real site):

http://www.pc-world.com

http://www.pcworld.com

These sites can be very different from the web, but the name is too easily confused.

If people are your customers?

If you choose a country code domain, like. CA buy, or just one. COM? If you are a real estate agent, and are only sold homes in your area, you should only buy your domain country code? Not necessarily. What about potential customersthat are trying to relocate? Are you a local landscaper? Then a Country Code domain might be the best solution. As the domains are selling very quickly now for the .COM then people start to use the Country Code domains more. Clients and potential customers are getting more computer/internet savvy and as businesses are starting to use the Country Code domains more, they will catch on to that quickly.

Multiple Domain names

If you are a business in Canada that expect to have clients all over the world you might want to consider selecting your domain with both .CA and .COM extension. How this would work is that your main web site could be your .COM address but if people type in your .CA address they are automatically forwarded to your .COM address. You have to ask for your .CA to be forwarded to the .COM address. It’s that simple and with the low prices on domain names not a big expense.

Another advantage is that if you have a unique domain name you can avoid someone else reaping the benefits of your advertising. People still tries to enter Web Address with a .COM first so if you had bought the .CA address and someone buys the exact name using .COM they would open your competitors web site first.

I am going through the whole process of basic SEO (search engine optimization) in getting a web site to the top of search engine result pages which includes just what SEO really is and what it is about.

This is the fourteenth article in this series.

If you have your keywords and keyword phrases, domain name(s), and have your web site optimized for SEO…you are ready to begin the process of getting your web site up in the search engine ranking pages.

After all of the time invested with the setup phase of your SEO campaign, you might think working on SEO would be complex. It isn’t.

All you are going to do is write articles and submit them to high Page Rank article directories. Not so bad but it takes alot of work. Before I go into that though, there are a good number of sources on the internet that would tell you that you need to submit your web site to Google first.

I will show you where you go to do this But I say this because you should "do.

Here is the place to submit your website.

Go to http://www.google.com, go to the bottom where it says "Google" and click on it. Next would go in the column "for the owners of the site. Go ahead and click on" Add URL to the Google index. "

This is your web address in a "waiting list" to be indexed at some point in time. If you do this, you should wait at least30 days or so before they get to it. It could possibly take several months even.

There is a better and much faster way though to get indexed.

I will explain what you do and why it works.

Instead of manually going to Google and signing up your link, sign up into an article directory with a high Page Rank of at least a 5 or 6, write an article and submit it. That’s it!

Here is what happens. High Page ranked web sites are visited by the search engines frequently. Article directories typically have a very high stream of content being submitted to them. If the article directory has a high Page Rank value, you can bet that Google is constantly querying the site for fresh content to the point that you might think they reside there.

If that article directory approves your article and publishes it, Google will soon do a “fresh” crawl, grab the content of the article, and places the links in your article in a separate index. Google will then go to those Links and "crawl" your site.'s Right, have indexed your site and they know it. Instead of waiting several months, and index your site within days.
